Elves from the Storm

Elves from the Storm ~ Storm Clouds

Elves from the Storm have moved in from the bottom of the garden. They have taken position on the roof and will soon be inside the house. There is no cause for alarm.

From the roof they made it into the kitchen, making themselves indispensible - cooking, cleaning and doing all sorts of odd jobs. Then they took over the lounge. They told me there was a gig this Friday . . . at my place! Don't worry, there's going to be another gig next week . . . and it's at your house!

Elves from the Storm have produced their first album, Storm Clouds is a subtle blend of steamy, alien trance and acid jazz. You probably haven't heard anything like it . . . at least - not in this world.

Cyborg Trance

Cyborg Trance ~ Android Anti Hero

Android Anti Hero

Ether Dreams

Cyborg Twin

Cyborg Trance have produced a number of albums, their third Android Anti Hero is a subtle blend of spaced-out hip hop, trancy acid jazz.

New World trance outfit, Cyborg Trance were especially constructed and programmed for this mission . . . although their journey to this planet has taken an immeasurable length of cosmic time they were disassembled at a facility near the Weapons Research Centre at Edinburgh.

Evidently Cyborg Trance were booked to play at a festival in Scotland as stand up comedians but have found their particular brand of ambient, experimental music to be far more profitable here in the depths of Adelaide . . . and they occasionally still get a laugh or two. Consequently they are just warming up their sub routines, giving us mere earthlings a taste of New World Cyborg Trance.

Enjoy . . . this is what cyborgs listen to when they are sleeping. Cyborg Trance evolved from the remains of the Random Distortion Machine and feature Karl (Klunker) Kincance on his trademark Hurricane guitar, Major Tom Tom Tom and his Platoon playing anti-tank guns and rhythm generators, and of course Dreddy Dredd and the Dredful, Dredful Dredlocks on percussion and steel thumps. Cyborg Trance is music for robots, for cyborgs . . . for a subhuman listening experience. The meandering musical mind of Cyborg Trance will transport you to . . . Ether Dreams was the first release from this splinter group of computerized subroutines.

  • Deep Chilled
Deep Chill have produced a number of albums, their latest Cafe Curly is a subtle blend of steamy, laid back, chilled out trancy acid jazz. Deep Chilled lounge ambience. Deep Chill make no pretence at playing fast, or recklessly. Their debut album Deep Chilled will freeze your urges to tap your feet and shake your head . . . if you can shake your head to the beat of Deep Chill . . . you will be asleep.

James Orrison and his eleven-piece band were cyrogenically frozen to make the trip to the Mars Bar Astrodome at Station Mars to record this chilling tribute to slow lounge music. ? couldn't play for a month after the show. Half of my arm hadn't thawed out yet!?

Unfortunately only four of the original line-up made it back to earth. Piano player, Bitching Fingers Bill Booby is alledged to have posthumously said, ? will never play again.?Bill is reportedly looking for a new agent.

Vibes player, Six Fingered Phil Flux is engaged in legal disputes with lawyers who claim he cannot have lost a finger because he still has five fingers on each hand. The last surving member of the band, the mutant drummer is not happy.

The Kilburn Jazz Masters

The Kilburn Jazz Masters ~ Quantum Jazz

The Kilburn Jazz Masters are legends around Kilburn, Blair Athol, Clearview and Northfield areas. These bunch of recalcitant horn and wind players, with a smattering of other instruments will have you dancing like Glen Miller on steroids. Don't miss a single beat.

Originally the brass and horn section from an inner city orchestra, the Jazz Masters decided to leave and go out on their own . . . without the old guys in the string section.

Torn between the swing style of Glen Miller and the uncertainty of improvised, free-form jazz, the Jazz Masters provide a warm feeling to post modern jazz and breath a blast of fresh air into adventures from the past.

After their first release A Cappella Without Voice ~ Singing Songs Without Vocabulary, this is the long-anticipate release that you have all been long anticipating.
